Kent Falls is Connecticut's postcard — a roughly 70-foot main cascade at the top of a series that drops 250 feet in total on its way to the Housatonic, framed by a covered-bridge entrance and a broad lawn that fills with picnic blankets all summer.

The famous stairway climbs a quarter mile beside the falls, with platforms at every good angle — about 0.84 miles round trip of stone steps that let you work the whole series from bottom to top.
