About Crowe Falls
Crowe Falls is a tiered in Indiana. The water falls in 2 distinct tiers.
It's fullest after rain, and flow can drop off during dry spells — plan around recent weather.
Plungeworthy rates Crowe Falls 4.2/10 — if you're passing. The score weighs its scale, how confidently it's mapped, and its character.
What you'll find
Crowe Falls is the Clifty gorge system's freelancer — a 45-foot drop in a ravine just south of the Hanover College campus, outside the state park boundary, with a fraction of the park's traffic.
The 2.4-mile out-and-back drops about 350 feet into the gorge and climbs back out — a real leg day by southern Indiana standards.
Two ground rules that differ from the park next door: no dogs here, and parking is informal — expect roadside.

Where it is
Before you go
The pin marks the feature, not a trailhead or a legal route in. Some sit on private land or need a real hike, and conditions change with season and rain. Check local access, don't trespass, and never enter water — hot or cold — where it isn't safe.
