Grasshopper Falls — later renamed Valley Falls — powered 1850s flour and saw mills on the Delaware River, including one built by Isaac Cody, Buffalo Bill's father. Then the dam that forms Perry Lake went in, and the backwater submerged the falls.
The World Waterfall Database states it plainly: submerged beneath a lake or reservoir. There is no falling water to see today.
