About Beulah Falls
Beulah Falls is a 10-foot waterfall in Iowa, on Bloody Run.
It's fullest after rain, and flow can drop off during dry spells — plan around recent weather.
Plungeworthy rates Beulah Falls 4.3/10 — if you're passing. The score weighs its scale, how confidently it's mapped, and its character.
What you'll find
A 10-foot, moss-covered, spring-fed falls emerging from a cave-like rock mound and dropping into Bloody Run, a state-designated trout stream. Because it's spring-fed, it runs reliably — the easiest guaranteed-water waterfall stop in Iowa.
It sits on the grounds of Spook Cave & Campground, the private property whose headline act is Iowa's only underground boat cave tour. The falls itself is free to walk up to; the cave tour is a separate paid ticket.
The name is a relic of Beulah, a vanished 1800s town that once stood nearby.
