About Saint Marys Falls
Saint Marys Falls is a waterfall in Louisiana, on Sandy Bayou.
It's fullest after rain, and flow can drop off during dry spells — plan around recent weather.
Plungeworthy rates Saint Marys Falls 3/10 — one for the list. The score weighs its scale, how confidently it's mapped, and its character.
What you'll find
A 10-foot drop into a pool on Sandy Bayou, with a separate 5-foot tributary drop right beside it. You can climb down to creek level and walk behind the main falls.
Same WMA as Rock Falls — this is the gentler of the Sicily Island Hills pair, reached from the area's northern entrance on an easy green-blazed loop.

- Hike
- 0.8 mi round trip (Moderate green-blazed loop, under an hour)

Before you go
The pin marks the feature, not a trailhead or a legal route in. Some sit on private land or need a real hike, and conditions change with season and rain. Check local access, don't trespass, and never enter water — hot or cold — where it isn't safe.
