About Pine Creek Falls
Pine Creek Falls is a waterfall in Nevada, on Pine Creek.
Fed largely by snowmelt, it runs hardest in late spring and early summer and can thin to a trickle by late season.
Plungeworthy rates Pine Creek Falls 3/10 — one for the list. The score weighs its scale, how confidently it's mapped, and its character.
What you'll find
Honest framing first: there's no single headline waterfall here. Pine Creek Canyon is one of Red Rock's most popular easy trails — a seasonal creek, cottonwoods, and the ruins of the 1920s Horace Wilson homestead — with several mini waterfalls and pools scattered up-canyon after rain or snowmelt.
Come for the canyon and the homestead; treat any falling water as a bonus. The creek is frequently bone dry.

Before you go
The pin marks the feature, not a trailhead or a legal route in. Some sit on private land or need a real hike, and conditions change with season and rain. Check local access, don't trespass, and never enter water — hot or cold — where it isn't safe.
