About Rabbit Creek Falls
Rabbit Creek Falls is a waterfall in Nevada, on Rabbit Creek.
Fed largely by snowmelt, it runs hardest in late spring and early summer and can thin to a trickle by late season.
Plungeworthy rates Rabbit Creek Falls 3.5/10 — one for the list. The score weighs its scale, how confidently it's mapped, and its character.
What you'll find
A good-sized waterfall around the 8,200-foot mark of Seitz Canyon, a glacially-carved drainage on the Ruby Mountains' west side — plus a quarter-mile-long cascade where hanging-valley Thompson Creek spills into the canyon.
This is one of the least-visited corners of the Rubies. The one specialist source that describes the route calls the Seitz Canyon Trail a “Where's Waldo hide-and-seek-fest” — faint, unmaintained, and for experienced off-trail navigators only.

Before you go
The pin marks the feature, not a trailhead or a legal route in. Some sit on private land or need a real hike, and conditions change with season and rain. Check local access, don't trespass, and never enter water — hot or cold — where it isn't safe.
