About Water and Ice Falls
Water and Ice Falls is a waterfall in Nevada, on Beaver Dam Wash.
Fed largely by snowmelt, it runs hardest in late spring and early summer and can thin to a trickle by late season.
Plungeworthy rates Water and Ice Falls 3.5/10 — one for the list. The score weighs its scale, how confidently it's mapped, and its character.
What you'll find
A small waterfall at the end of the Waterfall Trail in Beaver Dam State Park — Nevada's very first state park (1935) and still one of its emptiest. The trail follows Sheep Canyon past warm springs to the falls; plan on seeing no one.
One honesty note: the name “Water and Ice Falls” appears in no park document or guide we found — the park just calls it the small falls on the Waterfall Trail. No published height figure exists either.

Before you go
The pin marks the feature, not a trailhead or a legal route in. Some sit on private land or need a real hike, and conditions change with season and rain. Check local access, don't trespass, and never enter water — hot or cold — where it isn't safe.
