About Bridal Veil Falls

Bridal Veil Falls is a tiered horsetail in Utah.

Fed largely by snowmelt, it runs hardest in late spring and early summer and can thin to a trickle by late season.

Plungeworthy rates Bridal Veil Falls 3.6/10 — one for the list. The score weighs its scale, how confidently it's mapped, and its character.

What you'll find

A 607-foot double cascade veiling down Provo Canyon's wall, visible in full from the parking area — Utah's most-seen waterfall and its easiest giant. An aerial tram once ran to a clifftop restaurant here until a 1996 avalanche erased it.

Heads up: a $7M county rebuild runs through 2027 — the lower lot and base bridges close in phases. The falls view from the upper lot and Nunn's Park never closes.

Getting there

Where it is

Before you go

The pin marks the feature, not a trailhead or a legal route in. Some sit on private land or need a real hike, and conditions change with season and rain. Check local access, don't trespass, and never enter water — hot or cold — where it isn't safe.
