What you'll find

Grand Teton's crowd-pleaser: Cascade Creek falling a hundred feet through spruce, a ten-minute walk from the Jenny Lake boat dock with the Cathedral Group looming overhead. The shuttle ride across Jenny Lake is half the postcard.

Getting there

Trailhead: West boat dock via Jenny Lake shuttle, or the full lake-loop trail (~9 miles RT) from the visitor center
Parking: Jenny Lake Visitor Center lot — early or shuttle-bus patience
Road: Paved Teton Park Road
Hike: 1 mi round trip, 100 ft of climb (easy)
Heads up: The shuttle is a separate concession: $20 adult round trip in 2026, cards only at park gates, no reservations, boats every 10–15 minutes May 15 – Sep 30. Continue up to Inspiration Point if the legs agree.

When to go

June through September; morning boats beat the queues both directions.
