What you'll find

A small cascade on a Middle Caney Creek tributary inside Hollow Park, in the middle of Sedan — a town park reclaimed from a former garbage dump into gardens with a gazebo. No source publishes a height; treat it as a minor, charming stop, not a destination.

A boardwalk from the gazebo reaches the falls in about a tenth of a mile.

This is Chautauqua County's third distinct waterfall, after the Sedan City Lake falls and Butcher Falls — an easy add if you're already in town.

Trailhead: Hollow Park, Sedan — Main Street, then north on Sherman Street; parking is next to the one-room St. Charles Schoolhouse
