What you'll find
Indian Creek stepping down ledges of Bethany Falls Limestone inside a Kansas City park — about 12 feet of total drop spread over a hundred yards, with a single ~6-foot step when the creek runs low.
The Fitzhugh brothers built a gristmill here in 1832-33; as Watts Mill it ground grain until the building came down in 1942. The foundation and interpretive signs remain.
Today it's a city park at 103rd and State Line: paved multi-use trail, picnic area, and a separate off-leash dog park.
